Thank You!

We just wanted to thank family and friends for all of their thoughtful gifts.

Here are a few lovely outfits we can't wait for Ayla to grow into...

Four Month Mark!

Ayla has had to travel with me on a lot of my rotations because we didn't have enough breast milk stockpiled initially. Here she is with me in Aurora, MN for my family medicine rotation. I thought we would splurge on a room with a hot tub for a couple nights so I could try bathing with her for the first time. True to my obsessive-compulsive nature, I scrubbed the tub out before running the water. Hot tub folliculitis, no thank you.

Tummy time is a breeze when the telly is on

As indoor Minnesota is in the balmy 70s (Fahrenheit, that is, for our overseas readers), Ayla appropriately dons a fashionable sundress which she has learnt to repeatedly pull up. A exhibitionist in the making?

Can't beat a cute smile. Aw.

Aunties Wai-Ming and Ho-Ming Visit!

Ayla's aunts swarm in from Canada and Colorado. Here are some pictures from Wai-Ming and Ho-Ming's visit:

Sandy, Scott's Mom, also drove in from Montana (15 hours one-way!) but unfortunately we don't have photos of her visiting.

Month Three

Ayla's third month of life...

Ayla makes this sour lemon face whenever we clean her ears in the bath. For cute! (As the say in Minnesota.)

Blog Catchup!

Time flies! I can't believe Ayla is now a little more than three months old. Here are some pictures of her before she turned two-month old:

My Mom and her domestic helper Phuangphet (who has been with our family for over twelve years) came from Thailand at the beginning of March to help with taking care of Ayla as I jumped back into the third year of medical school. I am so grateful for their help!
